    Hi all, Starting this thread as I have just updated my VCDS to v16 so now I can talk to my B9. Interested to see what modifications people have made and how! The platform on the B9 appears to be shared with the Q7 M4 so VCDS codes may be transferable between models. David

    Hi All. I would like to activate a few things on my car. VCDS is quite expensive. Is there a cheaper way of doing it? There seems to be lots of different cables on eBay at various prices. The genuine Ross-Tech cables seem to be few and far between. Or is anybody selling VCDS? Many thanks

    Looking for a full VCDS scan! I get odd datbus DTC's when I read with vcds. I suspect it being normal as there's a ethernet bus available on the obd that vcds doesn't support. Audi states there are none DTC's on my car when they checked.

    Diagnose misfire with VCDS

    Hi guys, Bought a VCDS kit recently and wanted to diagnose a misfire my friend has on his Seat Altea. Is this possible via VCDS, how much information would i be able to gather etc? Just some guidance would be appreciated as i am new to the VCDS world.

    ...got a 2006 2.0tdi avant se ( got ripped off by dealer who went bust but that's another story) anyway the reverse sensors don't work just a long beep I gather the best way to diagnose the fault is to plug it in to vcds So the question is does anyone have vcds near ormskirk Lancashire ? Thanks
