Plot twist...... this morning my car says oil change in 30 days, I’ve done 5700 miles.
This really makes no sense to me. Does the oil need changing in new TT’s every 10k/12M regardless of whether it’s long life oil not?
I have a 2018 TTS which was registered in April, and has currently covered approx 5700 miles.
Whilst looking at the onboard computer its saying it needs an oil change in 4300 miles time (see pic), this would be around the 10k miles mark. I'm not currently receiving any alerts on the...
I'm sure this has probably been asked before, but I can't find an answer from searching the forum.
Have a 2018 TTS fitted with 20" Yokohama Advan Sport (OE Audi) tyres, so far the car has done 5k miles and the tyres are still in great shape. Now I don't drive the car like a boy racer...
Recently purchased an approved used model (former VAG owned) which is 6mths old with 4k miles on the clock. The car is great, but whilst cleaning it this morning I noticed one of the wheels had been refurbed prior to my ownership (see pics).
I couldn't quite get the colour discolouration...
Thanks guys, I'm using a company supplied mobile phone and tethering/hotspot functionality is disabled..... so a data SIM is my only option.
I've found an EE SIM that has 6GB for 12 months (500MB a month) on eBay for approx £17, so might give this a go unless anyone posts other suggestions here.
Dropped the car off this morning (2015 2.0 TDI) for it's 1st MOT and brake fluid change, and was informed that recall work would need to be performed on the car. The lambda sensor would be replaced whilst it was in.
Anybody know any background on this issue?
I've just checked on the infotainment system what it thinks my service intervals are, and it's stating the following;
Next Oil Change: in 2300 ml / 1 day
Next Inspection: in 11600 ml / 31 days
Not sure if that helps to work out if it's been reconfigured to 'Fixed' interval, or whether it's...
My mileage is approx 8k a year, which I know is more suited to the fixed schedule. However, my whole premise for preferring the long life regime was less trips to the garage, and the 2 free services would effectively cover me up to 2021
Bought my A3 in Feb 2015 and got the deal Audi Finance were running at the time of the next 2 services free.
Fast forward to Feb 2017, and the 1st service was due after 2 years (long life). All was completed OK and have had no problems with the car to date.
So, Feb 2018 rolls around and...
