Audi S4 Vorsprung (no option for flat bottom steering wheel)

That's a shame, really don't like the look of the normal steering wheel but makes sense if it's the heated option that's causing it to not come as a flat bottom one.

Audi S4 Vorsprung (no option for flat bottom steering wheel)

No chance of the flat bottom steering wheel coming back? I'm due to order in December anyway so hoping the option comes back!

Audi S4 Vorsprung (no option for flat bottom steering wheel)

Hello everyone, Was just on the Audi configurator looking at the S4 Vorsprung but can't see the option for a flat bottom steering wheel? Was considering upgrading but can't stomach the thought of the normal wheel over the flat bottom one. Maybe they can't add all the controls to the flat...

    Lag - Delay - Hesitation

Which engine do you have? I have a mapped 272 also have a tmc motorsport gearbox tune and dtuk pedal box. It works together so well and there isn't much lag. Car is also really driveable Its so worth considering a gearbox tune, really firms up the gear changes and changes the whole feel of...

    Facelift RS4 against M340i

I'm more of an Audi guy but tbh I'm so disappointed in how badly the new rs cars are faring against the m and amg equivalents. They're getting destroyed in every race lol and although Audi may offer a better overall package imo I don't know why they can't get it right when it comes to gearing...

    Facelift RS4 against M340i

I know a lot of people don't like how it sounds but I though it sounded pretty good even though the sound is fake. It's still a v6 anyway so better than a petrol 4 pot imo but not better than the petrol 6 when it comes to dynamics

    Facelift RS4 against M340i

The new s tdis would be monsters once tuned though. My mapped 272 like urs has similar power and more torque than the new s tdis. But I did test drive the new s7 and although mine does feel quicker, the s7 had a stronger top end and felt a lot more meaty overall. They've definitely fiddled...

LED Interior Light Pack Vs Extended Interior Light Pack

Try this link but hasn't got the remote controller. You use an app which in a way is better as you have more colours to choose from...

LED Interior Light Pack Vs Extended Interior Light Pack

It comes with a cigarette lighter. There is another way but too complex. It has to wires you have to connect to a power source so you have to take off Some of the dash. You can see a wire coming out of the glovebox into the cig lighter but doesn't look bad at all.

LED Interior Light Pack Vs Extended Interior Light Pack

If you don't do it right or buy the wrong type yes they will look very tacky. I initially brought blueish turquoise ones which stayed that colour and during the day the colour of the optic cable was blue and very noticeable. The optic cable on now is transparent and not that noticeable during...

LED Interior Light Pack Vs Extended Interior Light Pack

Sorry to hijack this thread but has anyone considered aftermarket interior light optic cables? I brought one off eBay for around 20 pounds n it's absolutely transformed the car at night! You have different brightness levels and have different colours aswell controlled via a remote. You can...

A good option for those who don't like the diesel 2020 S4 TDI

I definitely concur on the torque figure compared to the previous one. My mapped 272 has 700nm and the pull compared to my friends s5 is in another league. However it's no where exciting as the petrol but I don't mind as imo it's a perfect all round car. I think each to their own on what...

Not a great show for the new diesel S4!

Thing is I can understand why the die hard petrol heads are annoyed. As the 's' stood for sporty, enthusiastic, thrilling, and it's hard to make a diesel like that. The v6tdi is none of those things but one thing it is is really smooth, muscular in its power delivery n very relaxing to drive...

Not a great show for the new diesel S4!

If you look at these stats off automobile catalogue you'll see the s4 tdi does 0 60 in 4.5 compared to 4.4 for the s4 petrol. The differences in real world probably won't be noticeable as the diesel still has significantly more torque, the pull is much stronger imo and as you can see the petrol...

Not a great show for the new diesel S4!

To be fair the s4 tdi keeps up with the m340i just fine up to about 200km where the BMW is a least 10kmh ahead and keeps increasing its lead. Also bear in mind that the bm has 380ish hp and I'm guessing it probably puts out more in the real world! The Audi is at least 200kg heavier, over 40hp...

Not a great show for the new diesel S4!

I understand where your coming from there but I still feel an amazing pull from 100mph onwards, in fact the pull feels even more immense as it would from 50mph as the torque peaks at 2500rpm so you just feel like your waving a mountain of torque. It feels like your being pushed by some other...

Not a great show for the new diesel S4!

I really don't think it's so much down to the tdi needing 400bhp plus 800nm. On paper at least and even 1k down on the rev band the tdi basically makes more or less the same power as the petrol plus is 200nm up on torque. That difference in torque is very noticeable imo as I've test drove all...

S4 Diesel Wins Drag Race against old RS4

I had a drag with an e92 m3 and b8.5 rs5. The e92 I comfortably took and it only started gaining on me after 100mph, and the race had already ended by then. The rs5 however was level with me the whole way and eventually nipped ahead but only just. And this was when I had the tdi tuning box on...

Not a great show for the new diesel S4!

My cars the black one that won, 272 with a tdi box on and maybe just 2k miles at the time. The other was also a new 252 tfsi saloon. I read somewhere that they put out around 270-280bhp stock so believe me they are quick.

Not a great show for the new diesel S4!

We gotta see that video! When I first got my a4 and put a tdi tuning box on I recorded a race between mine and my friends 2litre 252 tfsi a4. You might have thought it's not a good comparison but that 2litre tfsi moves! It felt quicker to me than a tts courtesy car which is the same engine but...
