    B9 S4 Info Thread

Absolutely! But probably not until around 2022, just before the B10 comes out, and everyone complains it looks like the B9...

    B9 RS4 & RS5 Info

Maybe because my dog wouldn't like being in the trunk of a sedan? In the UK at least, conventional saloons (=sedans) are almost history. Hatchbacks, SUVs and estates(=wagons) rule for day-to-day driving, just due to practicality. Compared to a sedan, the same sized wagon can hold a whole lot...

2.0 TFSI Known Oil Consumption problem - 2015 ongoing thread (2009-2011 models)

Never had my exhaust tips cleaned or replaced. But I didn't have chrome ones to start with :) Re the car being revved - I can't tell what revs are being used but it doesn't sound like it's being thrashed. Engine noise, recorded on a dashcam , in a confined space is always going to sound pretty...

New car collection - what to expect from dealer?

The feedback you give to Audi UK is important to the dealership and the salesperson. Expect the Business Manager to try and lodge the phrase 'extremely satisfied' in your frontal lobe several times. We were asked if there had been anything in the sales process that had been unsatisfactory. I...

Sprint Blue 2.0TFSI - Build Thread - Pic heavy

Looks good :) I'm confused about the exhaust, though. My '09 2.0TFSI had 'wheelbarrow handle' tailpipes as standard?

2.0 TFSI Known Oil Consumption problem - 2015 ongoing thread (2009-2011 models)

Nothing to worry about there. First, until the new rings 'bed in' to the cylinder bores there's going to be some oil getting past them. Second, the MMI isn't the most accurate thing in the world. The gauge can fluctuate depending on the angle the car is parked, etc. And third, nobody said...

You can manually disengage it if you have your foot on the brake, if that helps. Phone : I just have a curly charger cable that comes out of the glovebox, and my phone tends to sit in cupholder. Or just in my pocket, assuming the battery isn't flat.

New S4 Avant - "at Port of Exit"

Thanks :) Mostly, I was lucky with the light and the timing. (although the harder I work at it, the luckier I seem to get!) Five minutes earlier I was in danger of ending up in the ditch as the sun was *right* in my eyes! The run up there has a fun section of several linked second-gear...

New S4 Avant - "at Port of Exit"

Not sure "freebies" is the right word, when you've just watched a five-digit sum taken on your debit card! We were unexpectedly offered a meal out (up to £100): 'Just send us the bill'. We then joked about this...

New S4 Avant - "at Port of Exit"

Tyres fitted are Pirelli P7's. Mileage at delivery was 1... Just playing with the MMI menus - it shows THREE keys programmed for the car. Does the plastic jobby count as one?

New S4 Avant - "at Port of Exit"

Well, it's here :) Just back from the dealer with a smile on my face and dead bugs all over the car. At least it was clean once! Very pleased with the look. Low-key and unassuming on the 18" wheels. Carbon Atlas was a great choice as it kind of echos the Daytona exterior. Grey, but...

After seeing the B9, I'm happy with my new A4 Black Edition (B8) on order

Sounds like a great deal. What's the mileage allowance? Typically with a new model... a: The discounts stop (currently around 7K off list on that model!) b: The list prices go up c: Standard equipment is cut back from the outgoing 'special editions' ( I'd be surprised if you can get into a...
