    Yeah, very unlikely the 3.0 will be more fuel efficient. I know mine isn't, I'm lucky to get 30mpg but I only really drive A and B roads. Hell after a spirited drive the other day I managed a whopping 14mpg on the DIS! 300bhp sounds nice, my 3.0 is the really early 225bhp so best I can hope for...

    I do like these statements, 'has no trouble passing the 3.0'. Of course it doesn't, it's putting out more bhp than the 3.0 because it's been remapped! Remap the 3.0 and it's slightly different story. That said, if that's genuine mpg it's pretty impressive, would like to know the actual mpg not...

I've found I can have more 'fun' in tiptronic but still return a better mpg than just sitting in 'D'. The only time it sits in 'D' now is long motorway journeys...

    My new Avant.... Very few plans for it at the moment, de-badge, set of Eibach springs, some new wheels and a remap in the future once I get used to the extra power. Possibly black out the chrome and tints from B-pillar back. We'll see

    Hi Mixxy I've just literally had mine done. No extra bolts were required, the ones from the existing carriers were used. Really pleased with the difference, although I'm not sure whether that's down to the larger discs or the fact I now have thicker pads!!
