I am stage 1 rs3 fl with very good power on map 2 of 486ps 688nm /map 3 of 520 ps 735 nm with octane booster. I am looking to add a up graded intercooler and will my car benefit from this even on a stage 1 map.

In a word: yes
These cars loose power noticeably as they get hotter. An intercooler will be above all else more consistent, and safer for the tuned engine. The gains may not be massive on a cool car but it is a very worthwhile upgrade for sure.

And these RS3 engines get hot, very quickly. An intercooler should be the first mod to consider when going stage 1.

Agreed with above, heat soak is a big issue on rs3's especially doing back to back runs on a strip, track driving or even just driving hard on the road. Plenty of options out there like wagner, iroz, apr, etc which all show a large benefit through their testing
