2011 Audi A3 wing mirror kicked off

Hi people,

Sadly some idiot booted my drivers side wing mirror off the other night. The inside wire is still attached and the electronics are still working, im wondering if anyone knows from the images attached what parts may need replacing and how much they cost on average. Thanks in advance

We're they electric folding?

It's a new mirror base needed as it's snapped clean off.

Whereabouts are you located?

This why I like your guides, they're easy to use.

Only thing that differs with the official, or proper way as nhn said, is supposed to remove the window frame to unclip and reclip a white tab that holds the wiring.
I doubt most ppl would do that though

Thanks bud :)

Yeah I thought of it too when I fitted the new cable in. But that means getting the spring off that hold the mirror on the frame, not liking that. And since I could feed the cable through easily and I don't have elec. folding mirrors I'm not that concerned that the wiring will get stuck within the mirrorhinge.
