Facelift Noisy exhaust clamp down

There’s no clarification of how these tests will be done e.g how far the device is from the exhaust, is it going to be idle noise, other noise interference if it’s going to be on the road side.
just seem another form of tax/punishment for people with nice cars, even if their cars have stock systems some are very loud like the rs3 and other high performance Audi models.

TBH I hope they clamp down on some of the moto sickles too
There's a couple of mid life crisis blokes near me who have Hardley Davidsons with 'screaming eagle' pipes which are basically a straight thro' chrome pipe
If the Police are going after loud pipes it got to be across the board IMHO

I am pre WLTP and stock so not worried.
Huge admin burden on their side to date cars and prevent false positives. Without that their credibility will fall quickly.

Think it's about time to invest in our own island where a bit of fun is encouraged instead of the modern cancel culture where people pontificate and instantly agree to the next pile of nonsense coming down the pipe!

To be fair I tested my OPF pre and post valve controller and it was in the 90Db range, now with stage 1 pops and bangs I better watch out
