Hi,

I’m looking to retrofit the extended leather pack to my 3dr a3. I’ve managed to do the front doors and changed the centre console out but would like some guidance on how to remove the rear panels to fit the armrests. Does anyone have some instructions on how to remove the panels?

Thanks
Nath

Very easy.

Same concept as the front panels. There are screws you have to get to first and then you will be able to pop it out.

The only thing to note is that when removing the additional connectors (specifically the one that goes to the tweeter) it may be a little hard and you have to be careful. If you tug the panel you will break the speaker out of where its held in place.

Good luck.

You may not like this idea but, they make leather covers for the armrests that you can glue on. They are made in the UK too.

I did not buy them because, it looked tacky gluing something like that on.

However, you may like it and they probably do a great job designing and cutting them precisely. I just couldn't risk it because, of the price they are charging + I live in the US.
