Steering column stalks and squib replacement

Hi
I have an A6 Allroad 2014 and the steering squib broke. Managed to find another on eBay fitted it no problem. All the buttons work but the car still has loads of errors and my local garage couldn’t clear them. Do I need to get the new column squib programmed to The car??
Any thoughts??
dont want to resort to Audi as they are really bad.

Do you know what the errors are? Have the adapted the replacement ring to your car? You would normally need to do the G85 angle sensor and relearn the end stops

Hi thanks, I took it to another garage today who said they knew what it would be and can get the computer wizz to sort out on Monday. I think it need to be aligned to the car. Blomin computers!!
