I’m looking to go for a new car and interested in the Audi s5 but I’m 20 year old and can’t find insurance.
Does anyone know if it will be possibly to find insurance that isn’t 7/8k lol cheers
 
Which model S5? I've had my S5 since I was 20 and prices weren't that high, no point comparing however as there's so many different variables going into insurance prices.

Why not just put your details into a comparison website - I suspect that’ll give you and accurate ballpark figure to start with.

If you need a car / reg then find a similar one to the one you’re thinking of getting on Autotrader and put those details in

Talking insurance! I'm with AXA and just renewed for £370 for the year on my A5 coupe with all the bells and whistles included...did another quote for a Fiesta ST3 and they wanted £1,850 :D Other companies were £280 :p looks like AXA don't want to take the risk with an ST!!!

i have the exact registration plate of the car however every time I check it is coming up a ridiculous price of 7/8k the best I have found is 5k which still isn’t a reasonable price, the annoying thing is the car is sitting there ready to buy however I can’t go for it and then end up not able to insure it

B9? Do you have parents added to your insurance? I can tell you I paid £950 for mine but there's no point people here chucking figures out as it'll be completely different.
Sounds like you have a "high risk" job insurance wise, or high risk area.

If the price is coming out at £5k plus, that's what it is gonna be. Nothing on here will change that, sorry. Sounds like either you pay the money or a different car.

Your age is going to be a big factor here, I'd look lower down the end more towards the 2.0 A5 route for now personally.
