Driver caught over 6 times drink drive limit

Motorway cops in Manchester caught a driver with no front tyres, trying to drive while SIX times over the limit.
Hopefully the sentence when he gets to court will be at least SIX times the usual bans and fines and time in Prison but probably not .
This is totally shocking and he should be banned for life , Same as all drink /drug /drivers caught over the limit even the ones caught the morning after .
(I will get flamed for stating this but so what .)I have seen the after affects of Drink /Drug driving and it's not nice ..

Agree with the driving ban for life
The driver should get a substantial jail sentence but in all likelihood he won't

He blew a 196, limit being 35 !!!

Punishment should be stern.
Likelihood it won't be.

chances are with those numbers he’s an alcoholic and probably been done previously.

at best 2-3 yr ban,

oh, and a 6 pack and £50 Argos voucher

I did 30+ years wholetime in the Fire & Rescue Service and have to agree on what you see due to Drink and Drugs, good aversion therapy.
 
I know it all too well myself having also worked for emergency services, but we were the ones giving folks the dreaded news
 
Any job within the Emergency services is very hard at times , I got early retirement nearly 3 years ago now after 27 years and don't miss the sh^t bits of the job one bit.
It paid the bills and holidays then and has changed a lot in the 3 years and not for the better .

Not enough prisons, too many do gooders and far too many who bleat about human rights, anyone sentenced to imprisonment should loose all but basic human rights.
It’s a punishment, or should be, not a holiday camp where there’s TVs, pool tables, PS4 and a lot now have access to mobile phones to cut down on fights re use of the prison one.
Without sounding like a rant our little island used to be “Great Britain”
Sadly there’s not much great about it anymore
