USA does have a massive gun crime problem, but I also see the e-cigarette becoming a very large problem (say hello to laws suites like the tobacco industry) and on the hole it's completely unregulated. Not a cat in hell's chance would I be sticking that stuff in my lungs..

Also no matter what Trump does, even if he is in bed with the NRA! The issue is the RNA has too much power over congress! Just look what happened with Obama, he tried and failed. Bet no one in congress cares less about e-cigarettes, so something can be done about them.

This would mean they could not have been legally brought to market without having been trialled first (thus determining what the risks and benefits might be) and once on the market, they could only be prescribed by a doctor, for a limited time, for the purpose of helping somebody give up smoking. The thing is, even if vaping does cause serious problems in a small minority, it’s almost certainly an order of magnitude safer than cigarette smoking, which kills half a million Americans (and 100k British) per year. Unfortunately the cat’s out of the bag now, vaping is a widespread lifestyle choice, seen as being cool by some and practised even by people who were never cigarette smokers.

I also don’t know that Trump is a moron, though he definitely does a good impression of one. He is certainly a dangerous scumbag. But if you accept that everything he has done and is doing is with the sole aim of getting elected/re-elected and that he doesn’t really care about the people, his actions both make sense and suggest he’s very good at what he does.

Its a lot easier to outlaw something that has little to no regulation (e cigs) compared to somthing that already has rules and regs in place.
