Rear badge removal stain

The previous removed the 2.0 badge from the boot of the car and it left a stain outlining the 2.0, does anyone know how to remove it?

Fine cutting compound and elbow grease.

Looks like it had been removed with a wallpaper scraper :/
 
When I took my ‘TDI’ badge off l used a product called Sticky stuff remover from Halfords, works wonders

Looks like it just needs a good polish as above wrote. May not get that deeper scratch though. Shame they didn’t use hot air and just peeled off.
 
I used hot water when I did mine and then Tcut with a bit of good old elbow grease
 
Sticky Stuff Remover is great for removing adhesives from anything..
As you have a scratch as well, how about fitting the badge back again to cover it up.
 
Apply WD40 and let it soak in - it will then rub off - it will leave no residue.
