To me the S4 facelift is an obvious step back and whilst I think this is now overly fussy too it's nowhere near as bad as it could of been. Still disel though ;-)

The mild facelift does look good, like the new lights.
However the diesel is off putting but will with old any complaints till I've seen/driven one in the flesh.

I think its a decent FL except for the fake exhausts and no more MMI wheel - I was worried given the A4 mess but this is fine. Dont fancy the diesel myself - it will feel a bit faster in day to day driving and of course save money on fuel. But if fuel cost bothered me I wouldnt of leased my S5.

wouldn’t consider it as a new car as the diesel aspect kills the car for me, couldn’t work given my short daily commute

Not a massive difference personally, I like the idea of a bigger screen but I do find it kind of is a bit intrusive sometimes, I'd be interested to see how much it gets in the way (also think it should hide when not in use).
Looking at what I've changed on mine (carbon inlays and RS grille) I can't really see how this 'looks' any better now, I'd even say the current S5 wheels are better. Mine is due to be swapped in April and I'm really torn on if it's even worth switching to one of these now, I'm thinking of saving some money and going for one of the new S3's when they arrive.
Also the clicky MMI wheel changing is a welcome change!
