Hi guys,
Hope you don’t mind me posting this here, the tt section seems dry..

Recently bought a tt 225 and I’m struggling with a few boost problems.
First off when I first got it there was a definite leak.
Found plenty of splits in the pvc system which has now been simplified.
I’ve replaced the DV and N75 as I was experiencing a surge of boost to 19-20psi then slowly dropping to 12.
I’ve just replaced the n75 and it now stays at 10 psi.
I’m hoping to mock up a bung to pressurize the system and find anymore leaks. I’ve tested from the charge pipe to the inlet manifold and that is sound.
Really stuck for ideas, ideally next move would be vagcom? New to it but I’ll give it ago.
TIA
Tom.

I don’t unfortunately, I forgot to mention its supposed to have a remap to 265, could a poor map be the issue?

logs dude. smoke leak test wont hurt either
if its driven fine in the past, maps dont change, think about it

I’ve only just bought it, hasn’t been boosting right since I’ve had it. Looks like I’ll need to start logging.
Thanks mate.

I have the same issue at the moment, boost surge then dropping back and then boosting fine. I changed my DV from split R to OEM a few weeks back and thats when it all started. I have now put the split R back on and its the same. I'm at a loss! I have logs from an OBD2 reader that is measuring engine load, TP and boost and it doesnt look great. Mine will boost to 1.8-1.9BAR and then drop back to 1.1 then boost normal (1.3-1.45)
