Help Please Dynamic Steering error flashing on Dash?

Got this on the car. Steering wheel offsets by 1/4 turn.

when I switch engine off and on it seems to reset itself until I turn wheel full lock'ish.

Any Ideas anyone?

Could be steering angle sensor needs recalibrating along with the basic settings.

a bit perplexed as it has only just had new front discs and full alignment check.

I also got this a few weeks ago, hasn't happened since but scared it happens with kids in car on motorway. Think i need to get tracking done again to.

• UPDATE -

Very helpful garage did the following:

1. Full realignment set up conducted;
2. Reset basic settings (seems to be the common approach to a fix);
3. Fault reappeared as soon as i reversed into the drive (6 miles);
4. Car returned to the garage;
5. fault codes - 3110 and 00778
6. Garage followed 'book' process to reset the Basic settings;
7. Codes reset;
8. took it for a drive - no problems;
9. Parked up and restarted - fault reappears! - Frustrated;
10. Garage now scratching head - as was I.
11. Next option is to perhaps replace Steering angle sensor and reset.
12. Currently driving the car until the fault reappears.................... before i bite the bullet.

Any good ideas or similar experiences that can be shared?
