I’m considering one of these. What engine do you have? Thanks

Jesus! I’d say it’s super quick.

I have a 272 but the s tronic gearbox would be at the limit of its torque so I’m in two minds in whether to ramp to 680nm as I’ve read the limit on that gearbox is 600nm

Yes it is quite brisk - but its not the absolute power that makes the difference it’s the way the power is delivered it’s so much smoother and responsive than standard - and around 3 or 4 mpg better when driven sensibly though it is difficult to resist the temptation.....

I had that box on my 313 ps and sold it a few weeks later,it seemed to make the car responsive but 0-60 launch times were no significant difference if any,it was doing way more DPF regenens than normal and the final straw for me was when the car developed a really lumpy idle and a bit spluttery like it was overfuellimg for such low rpm on initial slow takeoff.
Car has been fine since.

Had boxes before on 2.0 TDI and was really good aswell until it brought on premature Dual mass flywheel chatter.

I’ve since gone for a DTUK throttle box instead,it gives you the feeling of a remap and make the car feel pokey without pushing anything past there tolerance (so I believe)

Had on on a 64 plate bitdi. It felt good early on but then I started having engine management issues and the performance dropped off. The other thing is that the box essentially fools the electronics into thinking something else is happening. The biggest issue was that it put the cars ability to calculate it's own mpg way out. It looked like there was an improvement on the computer, but tests showed that this was in fact false.

Agree with above, i had a DTUK box on my A7, it ran fine for awhile then threw up engine warning light's and codes, cleared with CARISTA app.

Ran fine for awhile then started again, did this about 6 times over 4 months, i tryed all sorts, even as per DTUK advise when i rang them cleaned the boost control switch.

Eventually got fedup with it so sold it and got a remap.

YOUR mpg read out will be miles out with the DTUK box fitted, try a fuelly app for real world mpg..

I had nothing but issues with my 313ps DTUK box. Car kept going into limp mode with boost issues. Had a new look sent to me but made no difference whatsoever. Ended up going for a map instead from MRC. It's now 390ps... And pulls like a train now!!!
