hi my alarm goes off every time i lock my doors after 30 sec and a few times the alarm never stopped when i opened the door its doing my head in the only way i can make the alarm work propply by removing fuse 15 im absolutely shocking when it comes to electrics so haven't got a clue what i'm doing.
 
Ideally you need to scan the car for fault codes in the central locking module as it will tell you which trigger is setting off the alarm

Another possible cause is the alarm unit itself... its prone to the batteries corroding (old cars) and this could potentially cause issues with the alarm

Fault codes would be first port of call though

my alarm still go off when i disconnected the alarm siren does that mean that the siren is fine?
 
It means that the sirens battery back up is good. You probably have a micro switch problem in one of the doors (including tailgate).
 
codes comes up with 01134 alarm horn h12 76-00-terminal 30 missing
and alarm triggered by inter sensors
 
still goes off even when i use the switch m8 its weird how the alarm works perfect when i take out fuse 15 though
 
I had this issue and could not work out the problem.
My alarm siren has now been removed.
Does not bother me now.
 
audi upgrades
The alarm siren is in the boot on the passenger side. You need to remove the plastic boot trim and take out the amp and CD changer. The siren is bolted below the central locking pump. You will see it once you start moving things.
 
Easy fix really, Not having an alarm does not bother me in the slightest and my neighbours are now happy.
Very annoying problem to have!!!
