Hi all
Interested to know your thoughts on this;
Just rang Directline for a premium quote for a tracker and what the discount would be and to my amazement the reply was none as the underwriter does not require one fitted!!
I am totally gob smacked as I thought it was nailed on at least 25% discount
Any thoughts?
 
Dash-cams are a bit like that too. You'd have thought having one would be helpful but not many insurance companies recognise it as a consistent benefit worthy of a rating consideration. On high-end vehicles trackers are a often a condition of insuring you. That doesn't translate to a discount if one isn't actually required (by the insurer).
