S3 Soundaktor

Brand new S3 (300ps)

When driving in Dynamic, around 4k rev’s I’m getting a light rattling/vibrating noise from the dash area.. I know that’s where the soundaktor is.. it’s just before I took ownership of my Audi.. I had been loaned a couple of different s3’s from my dealership as my car build was delayed because of WLTP. And neither of these loan cars had this annoying light rattling/vibrating noise coming from the soundaktor, they did the job perfect.
Anyone know how to stop this? Or any ideas why the hell its doing it

The soundaktor is under the cuttle panel under the bonnet!

Yea I know that.. just looking for advice on why it’s making a the light rattling/vibrating noise at 4k, it’s as if it’s the dash making the noise, but it’s definitely not. Didn’t know if anyone has had the same sort of issue.

Had this issue on mine ,so I turned it off with Carista . Hated the fake noise.

I don’t mind the noise if it works correctly like the S3’s the deal ship loaned me.

Changing the subject.. thinking about getting an OBD Eleven. If you use them, would the dealership know? Example.. if I had plugged one in, but not actually changed anything, could they tell if I used one? Is there a way of them checking?

I turned mine off a while ago, it just amplified sound.

I had the same issue. Was due to a loose bracket on the soundaktor.
Took it into Audi they sorted it under Warranty didn't take long.
Just be the resonant frequency at those RPM's making it rattle.
