Ive noticed a vibrating noise coming from the drivers door. It’s constant but worse if I turn up the volume on the radio. I don’t think it’s speaker related. It seems to come from near the led alarm light is.
Just wondering if anyone has had this issue and if there’s something I should be doing of looking out for.

Unfortunately not. Just a standard system.

Ah, was going to say the extra speaker trim on the B&O can sometimes devolop a noise. However ive just noticed you think its at the top, so wouldve been irrelevant anyway!

Hows youre window? Any play in it, has it dropped ever so slightly. Could be the regulator if so

Window seems solid. I think it’s gunna be removing the door panel and see if anything stands out. I was hoping I wouldn’t have to as I guarantee I end up causing more damage. I’m cursed with heavy hands

Lol i know what you mean. Nex time you wash youre car though id hit the top of the window with the hose/jet wash for a good couple of seconds. Just to check it is fine. I was unfortunate to have both regulators go on a a3 sportback. One was evident however the other wasnt seen by the eye.

Best bet is whip off the card though and turn up the music see if you can highlight it.

What a result..... So, the rattle got steadily worse and I decided it was time to address the issue. Went on YouTube and found a video on how to remove the door panel, got all the tools out that I’d need and set myself a few hours aside to carry this out..... It turned out to be a almost completely loose bots at the bottom on the door panel. Thankfully I noticed it before I removed anything. Tightened it back up and no more rattle.
Thank god I noticed it cause I know I would have caused damage to the panel getting it off.
Happy days.

I have a similar thing on the drivers door but my car is a cab. I notice if I press the close button on the drivers side window it stops. The window doesn’t even move or if it does it will move 1mm. Try this. It may work

I never saw this when I replied...Doh...

Yeah, thankfully it was just a loose bolt. I’m back loving the car again. It’s funny how a vibrating noise can make you wanna invest in a litre of unleaded and a box of matches :whistle2:
