Don’t know if this is the right place for this, but I recently purchased my A3 Sport with rear parking sensors.

When I go into reverse I can hear the noticeable beep, but nothing appears on my screen, with the distance objects are away from me

Can this be changed?

Any help would be appreciated! If I have to drive anywhere I live in Basingstoke so I can travel within 50/60 miles to get this fixed!

I believe it appears on my dad’s car, he has the same as me, a 2014 A3 TDI Sport?

Or I may be misremembering!

Yours is a pre-facelift. It should work - it does on mine.
I would take it back to where you bought it.

I bought it from a Honda garage!! It was a part exchange! They may be able to sort it, but idk if they would be liable to do it?

Could I take it too my nearest Audi garage and they could do it?

You can code the car to show the graphical display as well as the audible. Check the vcds sticky post for the coding

I don’t have a VCDS unfortunately. Is there anyone nearby who could do this? Would happily buy them a few beers!

I think you only get the visuals if you have the front sensors too. Although with PFL cars with rear only this can be coded.

Just a heads up with sensors and reversing cameras, I’ve got front and rear sensors and a retrofitted rear reverse camera. I find that if I am near anything at the front of the car, for example when I pull in to my house I drive up to the garage door (setting off the front sensors) and then select reverse to go in to my parking space the screen pops up but doesn’t show the reverse camera screen. I have to take the car out of reverse and select it again for the camera to kick in. Always when the sensors are alarming.

OBDEleven added the parking sensor display app for 2017 and beyond cars the beginning of last week so should be possible to add to facelift cars now

Ah cool, thanks for the info.

I went into my nearest Audi garage and they told me that this is not possible as I do not have Park Plus (front and rear), but it can be coded with just the rear.

So there is the answer, I have contacted my closest VCDS user and hopefully he can do this for me!!

I just looked in my obd11 and can’t see the app available for the 2017 onward models.
Are you using a beta or some other version?

They updated the app again on Saturday and removed the extra apps before I had chance to try it so oil temp in normal display is all I ended up adding

Buggers. Was the only thing I wanted to try

Yes will take about 5 minutes to do max, and definitely doable as I did it on mine

Yeah it really didn’t take long, had to sorted now by @JohnM100
