Managed to get my hands on some S7 calipers today, and i've been looking about for rotors for them and pads.
I've been recommended EBC Redstuff pads, but online they have mixed reviews - are these worth the extra money?

Also, I've not been able to find anywhere that does the 400mm discs, as euros and all others seem to only do 356 max? Does anyone have the audi part number for the 400s? or did they change to 356 early in production?

Cheers!

The S7 Brembos are 400mm discs, and I’ve not been able to find any (UK/European) aftermarket supplier. I believe (don’t quote me!) the 356mm are for the biturbo Brembos.

I’m running mine with EBC Redstuff pads which are a ceramic hybrid mix with zero squeal (a big problem with the OEM pads) and next to zero dust (also a problem with the OEM pads). The EBCs don’t come with the wear sensors.

In addition to pads you will also need a set of the “Insulation Plates” which are adhesive pads you stick to the back of the pads.

They are item #12/13 here. Only available from the dealer. Around £60 if I remember. Got mine via the forum parts request

Do your Brembos come with the carrier brackets (Item#19)? These are not available separately from the dealers, and very difficult (i.e. impossible..) to find aftermarket.

The ECBs and stick on discs...

Cheers for that! Didnt know about the insulation pads either, so cheers for the heads up! This is turning out to be a very expensive BBK! haha.
As far as im aware the calipers will be coming with carriers, i best ring up tomorrow morning just to be sure.
Ive asked for a price on disks from parts request on here, so i'll try round up all the other bits too! Did you link out the sensor on the pads then? and do you recommend them? I don't know whether to take the plunge or not!

I was able to reuse my original sensors since I changed to the EBCs after only a few thousand miles. You may get away with reusing what you have....

If your fitting on a budget, then trying to find some lightly used discs may be an option. They occasionally come up on eBay.

Wheels need to be at least 19” to fit the calipers.

Try asking Tom at our parts request for a price.

Try here

Also, FYI, the part number also fits the A8 platform, so better to search using the part number (4H0615301T or later updated number 4H0615301AL)
