my S4 avant is due to go back next year and I am already wondering what next.
Considering 3 year old RS4 or an RS6. Anyone had either as a comparison to the S4.

Never driven any but from what ive seen you cant go wrong with any of these. Id be more inclined to go with the RS6 just for the extra space.

Which one were you considering, V10 or V8?

Considering a C7 something around 14-15 preferably a facelift one. I can get a pretty good deal on a business version of a PCP deal. Looking online the RS6 seems a bit better on fuel than an RS4 obviously with either economy is never going to be good lol.
Guy next door to me had one in being detailed with a remap and full milltek and the noise was unreal.

I am about to jump into a B9 S4 Avant - what were your thoughts?

I love my S4 one of the best cars i have ever owned. Far better drive than my wifes range rover sport, although totally different beasts. I would have another S4 but I always try to move up opposed to sideways.

Already thinking of my next car and I’ve not even got my s4 yet :tearsofjoy:

Ha ha...that’s why I only do 2 year PCH deals.....after a year I’m working out what next and what the termination payment on the current car will be!

I think buying a suv is a nasty disease of which a cure should be found quickly or they'll be nothing on our roads aside from jacked up vans with windows..

each to their own, love my Q5, and whilst I liked previous aggressive stance of previous A6 Avant, wife hated it.

I’ve just come from a SUV and I’ll say I do miss the ride hight, not worrying about curbs and the utility around the coast.

I do like the new Q8.

My mate took these at an Audi training day in Munich

At least it doesn't quite resemble a van with windows on stilts. Probably out of most of our price range anyway and into rs territory. Sorry but if I had that to spend there are a range of cars I would prefer...

I had my b9 s4 for 15 months from new and it is going on Friday. I struggled to gel with it and nothing in particular, car is good but not for me. I have been thinking about a van with windows on stilts but not sure.
