I've got one, its ok. The apps bit would be brilliant if you didn't have to pay for it. The long coding works pretty well so you don't always have to use the apps though.
For reading and clearing codes its spot on.

I have obdeleven. I read up on Carista as well as it seems to be the preferred option for users of this forum.

I preferred the obdeleven pricing structure which is pay per use. Carista is a subscription - you pay for a week/month/year (can't remember the options) which can be expensive if all you want to do is release your electronic parking brake. I guess Carista is good if you are a professional and are coding many cars in a month.

I haven't actually bought any obdeleven credits yet - they can be earned by watching adverts (up to 5 a day). You can also get a credit each day for just opening the app - 365 credits in a year would let you do lots.

I think if you upgrade to obdeleven professional and are prepared to enter the codes manually then you don't need any credits at all, so much cheaper than Carista.

Which to go for I guess depends on what you want to use it for and how often.

Everything has its time; Carista has been the preferred forum pick for a long time, but inevitably newer alternatives will come along to challenge it and, for some, offer a better proposition. Like @blueleggy says, it depends on how often you use it and what you use it for. Always nice to have choices.
