Recently I’ve been realising that the bolsters on the super sports seats are quite rubbish, at least for me anyway (fairly small build), it makes me laugh that my wife’s Ford Focus bolsters are far better! They keep you glued in, with mine if you go round a corner at any speed you slide all over the place because of the way the bolsters taper out quite quickly.

Does anyone else find this? Has anyone else done something about it? I’m not even sure if you can do anything to be honest but maybe you can get them altered.

Your best bet will be to swap seats with me, I’ll have your super sports and you can have my boggos

To be fair allot of people swap them out for regular seats or buckets or whatever suits.

I'm a fat old man with a chronic back problem. I love my supersport seats! :)

This sounds like a setup to get me to relinquish them :D when you say swap them for regular seats, which regular seats - standard a4 ones? I don’t even know what they look like but surely they’re worse? :)

I don’t think I’d wanna go swapping. I have the magma red and I love it, and I like thing being fairly OEM.

Should I just get fat then?

If you’ve got a bad back I’m surprised you like them. Getting in my car is a ****** act of gymnastics...

So I’m guessing then that no-one has been mad enough to consider reshaping the bolsters? :)

Am I the only one who thinks they’re bad?

I have sports seats and agree they offer no lateral support for me (tall but skinny). I’ve got a couple of naff stick on pads that help a bit, but really not a good solution. I guess the seats are more suited to those with a larger build.
