Hi everyone,

I'm in a bit of a situation and thought I'd ask advice... My turbo decided it didn't want to live anymore yesterday and I need to replace.

What are my bolt on options? It's a 2003/53 B6 Avant Quattro Sport manual. Am I solely looking for a K03 or K03s or will a K04-15 bolt on?

Sorry for the laziness, I am supposed to be heading to Hull on Sunday for two weeks so its awful timing. I just don't want to buy the wrong turbo :/

Thanks in advanced, Ollie.

K04-15 bolts on but make sure it’s a real one. It will run on the stock map okay if your looking for the best from it will need a remap.

K03-29 is the 163hp turbo

K03-73? is the 190 hp turbo.

Or you could have your own refurbished.

Thanks for the fast reply, not looking for power gains yet just need it running but as it needs changing it makes sense to upgrade if possible.

I have read that the K04 will need a different manifold however... Is that true?

Ko4 015 bolts straight on but as some you would want a real one not a cheap, if your not after power and never want to run more power straight swap would be cheapest
