Sorry me again.
Do you know if you get entry lights on the door handles on these A4s? Ive seen some specs on You tube where you do get them but I never saw any of this listed on the config sheet during the order

Thank you

A4 Black Edition with Extended LED Interior Colour pack. Ive not selected any additional lighting (interior or exterior) option

Mines a totally standard sport and mine has them... I thought they all had them as standard.

I have them on my black edition

I’m gonna be mad if my S4 comes and has them missing when my 1.4 Sport has them :rage:

Thank you all. Looks like a car made in 2018 should have them

Does anyone else not have them? Mines a 2016 model and is as base as it comes... well except an se. Surely they have always been standard?

I think you have to have the "coming home/leaving home" function in the MMI car settings switched on for them to light.

I have them on my MY17 / 66 plate S4 - as above try enabling the coming home feature / leave the headlights in auto and see if they work. Have a look at the bottom of the door handles, should be visible.

Ahem. Turns out I do have them - just needed enabling in the MMI. Blushing furiously!

No worries, sharing information is what a forum is for, either that or a good read of the manual ;-)

I found if you already have 'entry/exit lights' ticked in MMI, one only needs to have the headlight switch set to 'auto'. Ours is May '17 build also.

However, if you are like us, one has to be careful. Our carport is above the roadway and for self-preservation, we reverse into the carport. Hence, at night, when the headlight switch is in 'auto' and someone unlocks the vehicle, the lights in the handles come on (very pretty they are), but so do the low beam headlights and literally blind any driver that passes-by, even at the 90deg. angle. Due to the height variation, they are directly in the beam. Even the DRLs are a problem, to a lesser extent. I consider them to be actually too bright.
