Hi guys, been noticing lately a lot of new Audi’s lately with black wing mirrors like this below

And I don’t know what people’s thoughts were on them, I quite like them. I just wanted to know if any of you had them on your cars (obviously not black on black lol)
Just wanted to know what people would think they would look like on mine in gloss black to match the grille?

I could always buy some cheap second hand caps, and get them done gloss black.

Anyway just wanted you guys opinion really

Nope either color matched or silver , personal choice really, they look great as they are chap.
 
My DTM has black mirrors and i like it but i maybe looking at changine to carbon fibre to go with the splitter spoiler etc

Each to there own its your car at the end of the day pal

I really like that, I think they go well with the black window surrounds which mine has too, lovely DTM mate btw

Personally I'm not a fan, colour coded is the only way to go in my opinion, I'm not a fan of silver either. To me black reminds me of years ago when you would get a lower spec car without colour coded mirrors. Each to their own though, it would be a very boring world if we were all the same!
 
Well I thought I had a good idea in asking the wife if she had some old thick black tights I could have so I could put it over the wing mirror of the car to have a look what it would look like, but she and my daughter looked at me in disgust, and didn’t believe me it was for the car :flushed:
 
Cheapest way to do it is buy mirrors from a black b6/b7 and just swap them over, if you were closer to mine I'd say chuck a couple quid on some eBay jobbies and pop over as I've done them a fair few times.

As a rule of thumb I generally go black mirrors and black wheels but it could work.

I like my black mirrors, I don't like the silver with the black pack.

I had a 3.0 litre petrol b6 Avant a few years back, I loved that car.
In fact I sold it to my dad so still see it!

I like the Black mirror covers....but then again I've got a Black car.
