Boot lid wont operate

Hi guys and gals
Any ideas why my c6 avants automatic
Boot lid wont close on the touch button?
 
Button might have packed up.
When you closing it from key fob, can you stop/open it from the button?

Thanks. Ive just had a look. The boot opens fine on the key fob and the finger sensor but it wont close on the other switch. I can see there is a switch just out of finger reach for that close button. I guess i could take the panel off and replace. Any ideas what the power is to that swich. I can check for open circuit on the switch itself?!
 
@B5NUT was retro fitting it so he might have an idea, as to power.
With panel off, you could easily measure it and see if button is working or not.

You going to need to check with VCDS to see what the error code is but you don't need to remove the panel to remove the switch it just pulls out.
