So I decided to split my work/personal phone, to control the work life balance.

Today I received a shiney new business iPhone 8, and was surprised that I can’t connect two phones to my car! BMW have allowed this for years, so why is this not possible with Audi?

You can connect two phones. In phone settings you can select your primary and secondary phone.

The dealer told me you can have up to 8 phones connected, can in my car

I have two phones regularly connected to mine (fandroid and my iPhone X igod) and I don’t have the phone box ? I use the usb and Bluetooth

To run 2 phones connect via Bluetooth simultaneously you need to have the wireless charging option which adds a secondary Bluetooth. I'm sure I read the 2nd bluetooth can be coded with vcds

You can indeed enable 2 phones connected with OBD11.. However, this is kinda useless if (like me) you use Carplay.

Not sure what your second device is.. but if like me you have 2 iPhones.

You can enable "Calls on other devices" within the settings of the iphone.

Then if you connect both devices to the car's Wifi.. it will pass the call from one device to the other that's connected to carplay.

Downside is you'll need to switch which device is connected to carplay in the MMI if you miss the call and need to ring back.

Yeah two iPhones, and I use car play.

At the moment, I’ve just used call forwarding. Maybe an excuse to change my car, to support two phones :)

Hi all, the following possible :

Android car .. as main phone but no calls.

Have iphone connected over Bluetooth for voice calls .

Been trying to set this up, struggling . Maybe need to turn off Bluetooth on the android device too. I keep having to switch between CarPlay and android auto .. bit pain. Probably need to sit down and work it out rather than trying to figure it out whilst driving...
