Anroid Auto USB connection

Hi All,

Loving the car so far, just one slight annoyance:

Every time I connect my phone to the cable I have to change the USB settings to Transfer Files (MTP) twice before it will work.

Is this just my phone or does it happen to anyone else?

No need to do anything with my phone when I connect the USB. Takes a short while for the Audi Smartphone Interface icon to change to the Android Auto symbol and then works fine. My phone is running Android 8 for what it's worth.

That might be it, mine is running 6, Vodafone seem to have dropped any updates for my phone.
