Im looking to retrofit “ami + usb” on armrest where there is “ami only” port



The plug of the new one is a little different of the old



I removed the pin that dont let me plug it in, but the usb port its not charging

Can you help me to solve this problem, like enabling anything on vcds or anything else?

The pins / wiring is different between the two ports, it's not a plug and play retrofit. No coding needed as the USB port is power only. You will need to source the correct cable or source the current flow diagrams in order to adjust the wiring as needed.
 
I tried to change the positions of the 4 wires but with no success, do you have any idea how to do this?
 
Retrofitting the AMI, what kind of prices I would be lookin' at in total?
 
You have to run 2 cables from the brown connector pins 15 to power and 16 to ground . I am 100% sure that pins 15&16 are missing ....
Then the phone charger will work
