Inspection pop up

Hi guys

When I got my car it had been serviced before I got it but the 'Inspection' pop up on the dash hadnt been cleared.

Anyone that can help me with getting rid of this ??
 
Take it back to Audi, save any issues further down the line. That's assuming you bought it from Audi?

Afraid it seems to be bad news, inspection requires a proper reset as below:



I'd take it back to whoever serviced it, or the dealer you bought it from. I'm not sure if Audi will agree to do it even if you pay them, unless they can be convinced it has been serviced but I could be wrong.
 
Does seem strange that whoever 'serviced' it didn't clear that. surely that's standard practice? I'd question if it was actually serviced at all??

I've not seen it come up yet but as they have a service and an inspection, could it not be that the inspection is due and not the service?

Just throwing it out there.

Yeahh it was serviced but at bristol street motors, there closes audi garage is in hereford. All the services prior to the one they done have all been done at a audi garage as I have chased it up through my local audi garage

My friendnuse to work at audi, hes now at VW so cant do it himself. But he said that it is the service warning 'inspection' that comes up. Ill get a pic when I next get in the car

Check the mmi as well, that will tell you about the service as well, get to it via main menu, car, systems....in fact this is easier:



EDIT* lol just noticed it's in comfort! I thought earlier today I had to move the wheel more than normal to get it around corners :D Recently I've been popping it into comfort when I have people in the car with me...dynamic with a full car is hard :)

Please explain to me what difference the different driving setups do lol I havent really played about with them so would like to know
 
I used a VCDS cable to reset mine

Inspection Reset
#####################

17 - Instrucments
10 - Adaptation
IDE03351-Fix: Distance covered since last mileage-dependent inspection
change to 0

IDE03352-Fix: Time since last time - depdent inspection
change to 0

check fault codes
close controller
