What does it say otherwise screen when the music is playing?

Mine says something like external audio player

Before my android was running 6.0 and would show the name and album art etc and I could skip track but when I updated phone it doesn't appear to support this.

After playing abiut with it today it seems that it is an issue with certain apps, for instance it all works fine with the standard Android music app but doesnt allow any control if I use my Amazon music app.

Just dump your music onto sd card. Much more convenient and all the navigation and album art works.

It works fine with Spotify too. Can you try with another app to make sure? I'd be surprised if it didn't work with the Amazon app...

You know how much music he would have to dump on there?! Millions!!
