Hi all.
I have a 2003 3 door A3 Hatchback with an OEM head unit. I have a sub that I used to use so all I want now is a head unit and amp.
However, I would, ideally, only like to spend £200-£300 max. Is this do-able please?
Also, can I fit a double-DIN head unit or would this take up more ££s?
Thank you all.

Bumpy bump, can anyone help on this, please?

Okay, I'll email you, thank you.

what OEM system have you got at the moment ?? Is it single din or double din ??
Should be able to ehat you want for £300. I would stick with Pioneer Alpine etc

Double din will take up more dollar usually, although for the price range you have in mind it shouldn't be a problem. For a low end headunit your looking at 100 + on the double din side of things whereas you can get a good pioneer with Bluetooth for 89 on the single din side. Just depends on what you want, personally I think single din looks a bit chavvy whereas a nice double din screen will always look nice

I removed a kenwood ddx4016dab out of my A3 recently. Was looking at selling it as no good for new car. It has the relevant cables for steering wheel controls and Bose too.
