looking under the hood this morning and spotted this resting on the undertray at the front of the car! What it is and where it's from I don't know? One side is dusty and the inside is clean so I'm guessing it's a cap off something

i think i know.......



is it the bung from the scuttle panel/battery tray, the one we push out to stop it filling with rain water ???
 
Looks like the cover that fits in front of the air con compressor
 
is there a visible part no. on it?
 
Could it have been kicked up by the wheels and ended up sat on the under tray?

You don't want to spend ages trying to find what ends up being the nubbin plunger flange gasket off a 93' Iveco truck.

So does it just push back in any old way! Or is there any more I need to know.
