Headlight alignment fix?

So i'm having problems getting one of my headlights aligned, problem is everytime I reset the ignition it will just reset back to the previous position. What options do I have to fix this? I remember someone posting a link to the clips to replace on ebay?

It passed last years MOT with the same problem even though it failed the alignment and I didn't get any advisories at all so bit confused there.

Have you checked if you level adjusters are still attached

Yep still attached to the clips, the left motor does stay on longer than the right when I turn the ignition on. Seems like its trying to adjust it but just fails.

one of the fixed points for the light to swivel on is mounted on rubber tube, if this works loose, it can throw the rest...?

This thread prompted me to check my car and I found that the passenger side front sensor hasn't got a rod connecting it to the wishbone, where can I get one lol
