What have you done to your Audi A4 B7 today?

What have I done to mine, nowt! Just been driving it and enjoying the sun!
Changing the high pressure sensor for the AC on Tuesday night, well one of the techs at work is. Hopefully that sorts the AC or it's compressor time :(

Fitted a new rear number plate as my flew off God knows where on the way back from holiday Friday haha. On a side note I removed the crappy plate holder it it looks loads better now.

That'll be E... NAFF gentleman! David it looks good, what's next on your plan! Has the tips made any difference to the sound?

Right here we go, out with the old and in with the new.

this is what was fitted by the previous owner, i wanted to do away with the plastic MAF housing so after a lot of searching came across the AEM Performance intake with MAF housing

First imprecations is very good, K& N air filter, nice powder coated finish on the intake pipe, heavy duty heat shield and again in a powder coated finish. Comes with easy to follow instructions and everything need for fitment. The one thing I'm going to do and have just ordered is put some more heat instillation on but take all the way across the back.

This nut on the brace under the head light also needs to come out.
Disconnected the MAF censor and clip from the turbo, then the whole lot just lifted out, once that was out using the tool supplied in the kit undo the MAF and fix it to the new intake pipe

once thats done its a case of assembling the heat shield and fitting all rubber trims
IMG 1715

these are two locating bolts, they just slide into the rubber grommets
IMG 1716

For some reason that gap is supposed to be there

All assembled and fitted not forgetting this blot

And this is the end result, have to say say its a nice bit of kit and having taken it for a drive it sounds good to too, now roll on 15th

I know mate. Yes in fact but I need to find a cheaper alternative as at the minute I can't justify spending £70+ just in tail pipes.

might be changing mine for something else in the next week or so, just need to be 100% i'm doing the right thing.

Forgot to post this earlier so it's basically yesterday now but fitted the RS pedals and footrest. Took about 15 minutes all in as I was expecting them to be quite hard after reading others people posts.

Is it not possible to do a group buy on the rs4 pedals, I'm sure a lot of members would be interested in them but not @ £100 or so!

Id be up for one nozrul, maybe worth emailing Mike in the parts section on here, I know Stoke Audi do them for £85 so anything under that would be great.

Just put 2 litres of oil in it as the dreaded low pressure warning flashed up.
Admittedly I haven't checked it for ages and always keep 5 litres in the boot.
I've been in traffic so its hot so its a it of shopping now and let it cool down a bit and then a pray when I drive home.
:(

I hope it turns out ok for you. If it does then take warning from this and get it modded. Nothing like being able to sleep at night.

Done!

3 part set 8E2064200 @ £45.60
4 part set 8E2064205 @ £74.40

I'd go for the 4 part set.... I need 5 people to buy to get this price.... Mike will be creating a new thread soon to confirm this.

Modded as in the oil pick up?
It already has it done.
:)
David mate hope you got your car sorted and nothing too serious I hope?
It got home alright (Hornchurch to Rainham).
Before I left Hornchurch I checked the oil level (after topping it up and letting it settle) and it was full.

Incidentally when I checked it after the warning it was at 50% so I'm hoping that was the cause.
Weird as the car had a full service in July, its never been a bad oil burner but as said I always kept some in the boot as I've read about the oil issues.
Fingers crossed.
:)

I'm in for the 4 pedal set. So that's 3 of us so far.

1. Nozrul Islam - 4 pedal set

I looked at them but too be honest £75 on something you can't see etc for me is mad especially as my pressure warning came up.
If its knackered its new engine time and the pennies will be needed for that.
:)

If I hadn't already bought my 3 pedal set a while back I would be all over the 4 - fuming.

To anyone undecided - DO IT, feels better under your feet - I kept slipping off the rubber set and these have been no issue what so ever.

Also they are very pretty.
