So as some of you may know my a4 has been having some problems so back to the garage it went for a phone call from Audi to go pick it up still the same told them keep it.

They then mentioned they took photos of all 4 of my rotor 19inxh alloys as they have started to become corroded pitted due to the old Ownet running them in winter does any1 think these will get replaced under warranty or is it just a waste of time ? Many thanks

The Rotors are diamond cut and they can corrode in the winter due to the salt on the roads. It is highly recommended to regularly keep them cleaned (with non acid wheel cleaners) and waxed with wheel wax to help protect them.

I very much doubt they will be replaced unless there are manufacturing defects found with them.

I got two rotors replaced via Belfast Audi for the being pitted. If they value your custom they will replace.

They have said not replacing but I'm going to try another Audi as I'm not happy with there decision

I really doubt you will get them placed as its not a manufacturing defect. It's a well known fact that you have to keep mirror finish alloys clean in winter and protected with wheel wax and avoid acid wheel cleaners at all costs!

How can you clean brake dust off without acid?

Or try

Iron x or dragons breath.

Both the same pH neutral cleaner.
