As of this morning, tracker says mine is FINALLY at the Dealers ... about time :)

Great news Snake.. Popped to see Danners briefly in the rain but running late... Car cut out and refused to start leaving the Golf Club... Warning light do not exceed 4000rpm and round amber warning light. Re-started after 5 minutes and alright since.
Loving the car.. great performance and very comfortable even without Mag ride!

RG I'm sure I read someone else with that same fault and what it was was the crackshaft sensor wasn't pushed all the way home think it was T800 in his mythos
 
Hello all,

Ordered my RS3 through Aberdeen Audi in early January, got the build week 15 to begin with but it quickly came back to 10 which is the 7th of march, next Monday. However according to the tracker on Your Audi it says that the car is already at the quality control stage.....how accurate is the tracker compared to the actual date received from the garage?

Normally pretty acuarate phone Audi uk customer services there helpful and will tell you where it is and if it's built

audi upgrades
My new toy has now been in Quality Control for SIXTEEN days.

Anyone else's been there for that long?
 
Mine has been sitting in QC for the past 8 days, hopefully won't be as long as that though. Did read on thread that the tracker isn't the most accurate as it goes through the stages until QC and sits there until your BW actually starts.
 
Gutted, our RS3 was due to be built on 14th March but it's been pushed back to 21st March now. The original order date by the dealer was 29/12/2016 and it's been in 'preparation' since Sunday

I know it's only a week but I'm impatient, 2 weeks ago we did change the colour from Sepang blue to Catalunya red and added aluminium interior inlays so maybe this has pushed it back?
 
This is getting weird now. It was due for a week 9 build, 22nd Feb. Tracking it through YourAudi on 28th Feb showed this:

Perhaps an indication that the YourAudi tracker is not very accurate, as someone suggested earlier. It's only been in Quality Control for 9 days after all (but still counting!)

Here's hoping that it's on its way soon, because I'm as impatient as you are Grimey!!
 
Mine was build date 22nd Feb too but was in qc on the 22nd now at port waiting a boat would have thought yours would be the same. Try Audi uk customer service and ask what stage they see it at
 
Ahh my days of waking up and daily ritual of checking the tracker are now over :)

Don't worry guys your cars will be here soon enough !

You will so love them when they arrive. Never has a car given me such thrills. Subtle too, popped down the pub briefly (Rugby/beer) and 2 separate guys I don't know came over and said it looked and sounded great.

Like you I am absolutely over the moon with my car too.
Every single drive feels special.
You gotta smile every time your strike them up too - the sound really is amazing isn't it.

My tracker suggests that my car has now arrived in the UK (Grimsby I think). I'm off to Sheffield on Friday to sort money out, would be nice if it arrived on a transporter whilst I was there!
The honeymoon periods for my previous S3s (8L and 8P) lasted 7 and 5 years respectively, I can't imagine why it would be any shorter for this car

Agh just realised my salesman is off so guess I won't be able to go pay today and push for pdi to get it released to the detailer.

Spaceman, are you having it detailed by the dealer i.e Gardex, or going independent? I'm undecided....
 
Hell no on the dealer doing it there not even taking the wrappers off there is a cracking detailing company ultimate shine autos literally opposite them so there doing it all for me couple hundred more than the gaurd X stuff but am getting full car inside and out gtech inc crystal serym black with 7 year gaurrentee..

If you paying anyone to put a sealant on it pay an independent end of buddy

Thanks for info. Yeah, I'm thinking of full gtechniq treatment. Its a bit more expensive as you say, but I'm sure the overall effect will be well worth it.
The only reason I was thinking of letting the dealer do it was that it may be beneficial at resale, but I don't want a spotty Audi trainee YTS hoody anywhere near it........... (oops, no offence meant to any spotty Audi trainee YTS hoodies lol)
