i am really fancying the new TTS what are people's thoughts on this?
That really is nice I am going to arrange a test drive what where your thoughts on the virtual cockpit?Yes on my consider list ..had one for the weekend a few months ago and very impressed, just need to get the kids through Uni so i don't have to be a removal service between terms. That said would not buy new as not sure it deserves ca 8k+ premium over an S3

Nope... TTRS when it's released will have my attention however.
Naw.....Good optioned TTS is £46,700...yip....A RS3......Cracking spec £49,435.........Simples....See ya..in me rear view mirror whilst ye check yer hair....in yer rear view mirror
Its silly money for a TTS ....yeah stunning looking car,but from the rear end its as bland as a Digestive biscuit...Also?? that virtual cockpit... would soon get on me goat...
Strange prices on the TT's, if you spec a manual on their website and look at the quote, it costs more than the S-tronic on a PCP per month....The S3 is more for the S-tronic on a PCP!
I did post a quote on here a few weeks back £6192 off!!!:

True, I'd have to see what you get as standard on the TTS and see if they would be used/wanted! I'm not big on options TBH, as I feel a lot of what I want/need is standard! BUT I'd be tempted to go S-tronic on a (non TTS) TT purely down to it being cheaper to get on a PCP over the manual....which is a bit mad!lts's got Uber LOOKS THOUGH...mate...sensible people wo
Very True in real road world terms, but a well optioned TT 230 quattro will cost ye near enough the same as a manual TTS..??
That's all as maybe... But it doesn't have enough seats or room.
If I could live with a 2 seater with no boot space and I have 50K or more to spend I'm either in a Porsche or an F Type Jag
Forget all the rubbish about the image. It's an absolutely fantastic car.
IMO the TTS steers better, handles better and has a way better driving position over the 8V S3/RS3. It's a properly sorted Audi. The interior is also a work of art too. If you haven't driven one then I would suggest you do!
In Sepang with the anthracite wheels it looks stunning in the flesh. The main issue is the price as others have said. It does make the S3 look a bit of a bargain.
Can't wait for the TTRS to arrive.....if it handles the same as the TTS then it will be amazing with that 5 cylinder.
Shame it's going to be the wrong side of £50k.
there is more to consider about a car package than just the size of the engine.
Tempted?...I was and got myself one.
Won't go into details but is a better car than my S3 without any doubt. Looks stunning, handles like a dream and has great sports seats and a perfect driving position. I paid £40k for mine In September (£5k discount).
Is it worth the £10k over the S3? Probably not, is the RS3 worth £10k over an S3? Definitely not!!
The S3 doesn't feel special whilst you are driving it or looking at it IMO, yes it is just about as quick as the TTS, but I know what I'd rather own.
People will always say how expensive it is for a 2ltr 4 pot, but there is more to consider about a car package than just the size of the engine.
Their are deals to be had, expensive ? Yes, but you only live once
Where does the TTS's +10ps up on the S3 come from ?
TTS drives far better than both the S3 and the RS3. Maybe down on power compared to the RS, but the way it feels, turns, is damped and the interior (especially the seating position) are all vastly superior. Looks far better too.
Best Audi I've driven and the only recent / current S/RS I've not yet had a go in is the V10 R8.
Cheers mate.I'll just note @Leegaryhall yours is in the perfect colour / wheel combo. Stunning car
