Just read the govt has launched this site whereby you only need to enter a reg plate and make to get history on the car. I knew one existed, but that originally required more details about the car in order to check.

Thats cool , but unfortunately not accurate , as my old car failed an mot prior to me buying it , and it does not show for some reason ?

Nice! That makes for an interesting read for me! I had practically no history with my car when I bought it, but now I have an approximate date that my Bilstein rear shocks were fitted. It seems that the car has a totally new lease of life to what it did 8 years ago!

Mine doesn't show up for some reason, I know it had a private plate on it from new up until sometime last year.

Mine goes back to 2006 too, any reason why they mention under tray and engine covers obscuring parts when they come with them anyway

I believe it's the mot tester covering himself
