Hi guys,

Don't know if you remember my thread a few weeks ago about cancelling my S3 and keeping my Subaru.
Well, I cancelled it but then over the next two weeks, the wife started saying that maybe she should get an A4 or and Avant or at least something newish. So we went and test drove an 2014 avant 2.0 black edition and.....yeah, it was nice. We then went and checked out a Suzuki Vitara and Mitsubishi ASX...wow, what a quality difference.
So the suzuki and the mitsubishi were coming in at around £289 a month and then the audi guy called me and said that that he couldn't go lower than £320 if I only put £1k in.
My wife started saying that "you only live once" and she suggested that if the S3 hadn't been sold...then maybe it was fate... my S3 is £386 with £1k in.
So, I called up my original dealer and it was still there so...we picked it up on my wife's birthday on Wednesday and I've gotta say....it's amazing!
Not sure what to do about my Subaru but the S3 is a dream.

Enjoy, at least you won't require earplugs for any journey longer than 2 hours ;)

Yeah...I amtrying to upload now....I am on iPad...it just seems to show a black square in the corner for ages with little white blocks moving but then nothing seems to happen?
Is there a quicker way to upload?

iPad Photobucket app & upload into that

Works a treat for me on the iPad :)
 
Damn this forum doesn't let you paste from Apple devices? Have I got to type out the whole link...?

Yeah...I have the app....my pics are in it...but how do I get them from there onto here?

Thats still dropbox...lol. But yes it shows overlooking a balcony with a blue s3 parked on the right?
 
lol...I was having a bit of a mare with my Apple ID and getting photo bucket. So I just used my work website instead. I've unlocked it so you should be able to see them.
 
Ask your neighbours if they have ever heard of a thing called "weedkiller" !

Are you sure it's 3 year? As I said, depends on spec and model, but if its stock manual he's probably got a sizeable discount.
 
Sorry guys...been out all day...just got back.

Yeah, my best mate has been dealing with the same salesman for about 5 years. I've never had a new car as I've been a Subaru man for many years.(Still am)
My mate works at a big firm and he sends lots of business their way aswell.
I don't know if it is an amazing deal but it seemed better than getting a "14 Avant for over £300.
1k down, think they've knocked £3.5k off, only 5000miles a year and 4 year pcp.
Oh... and me and my mate ordered the same car from the same guy.
S3 Sportback STronic Sepang Blue, SuperSports Seats, Privacy glass, Comfort Pack.
My closer dealers reckoned they couldn't really go below £500 a month.
 
Well, my mate said it was a great deal....glad I took it now you're all saying its amazing!
Considering that an Avant 2.0tdi was £320...£386 sounded pretty good.
It was £360 until I added the seats, privacy glass and comfort pack
 
Yeah you can feel like you robbed them lol. For every 1k down over 4 years is roughly £20 less per month so payments starting with a 5 sounds more like it.
 
Why...what are you guys all paying?

My mortgage is £480... I wouldn't want to spend more than my mortgage on a car.
 
If I spent my mortgage on a car each month I'd be driving a Lambo or something. Oh well ......................can't live in a car!
