as above, is there any way to stop the DRLs dimming when the sidelights are switched on, but still allow them to dim with main beams on?

Thanks :)

Obv not.. They are meant to work in daytime hence brighter.. You'll blind other road users if you kept them as bright.!

I know you can adjust the brightness when the indicator is in use via VCDS, not sure about sidelights though.

The reason I ask is because I like to drive with the rear lights on, guess it's part of being a biker that's stuck. Anyways the reason I ask is because obviously the DRLs dim when switched to side light and I'd like them to be full brightness. Not for driving round in the dark, in not an idiot haha. If it starts getting dark then the headlights go on!

Anyways thanks for the info nluk100, if anyone else knows anything else I'd appreciate it :)

Use dipped headlights, then. They don't dazzle folk like wot damned running lights do!!!

You can set the DRL mode to "Scandinavian Mode" in VCDS, this switches the rear lights on as DRL's too.
