Coilovers fitted - pictures

Got my coilovers fitted at the weekend. Thanks to RNR Huddersfield for the fitment.

They are AP oilovers and they have made a massive difference to the handling over the SE suspension.

Was worried they would be to low on the lowest setting, so they are sat 15mm higher then it will allow at the rear. The front have loads of play left in the them. Will probably drop it further again soon.

Very happy with them! Not the best pictures as they are on the phone.

Ride is great. Love how I can just throw it into the corners with no body roll. I can drive over speed bumps without catching, so it needs to go lower, but not as low as yours haha.

Only got one picture of yours!

Make a big difference don't they, it looks great could have gotten your head in that arch gap before ;) not anymore though :icon thumright: prob best pic I've got of mine so far this one.

Do you know if they changed all the bolts they removed to fit the coilovers?
I've read that all the bolts for the suspension have to be replaced and can't be reused?
 
Nope, used all the same bolts. What's the reason to change them?

Ive read a lot of the bolts audi use are torque to yield or stretch bolts so they should be changed.
I don't know how true it is, it's just what I've read
 
Nice.. Was this a pricey job? if you don't mind me being nosey
 
I got them second hand from SI-W85....so cost less than £300 fitted .

Can't wait to get them a bit lower.

Rs4 grill
S line skirts
A line interior

Dropped it down further today. The backs are all the way down now and the front are as far as they can go without scraping the arches on lock. Also painted my caliper a today (bmw blue)

It's not catching speed bumps so may need to go back up.

Ps my grill paint has all peeled .

Anyone selling RS4 grill?
