Hi everybody , I'm lowering my SE 45mm just feel it's far to high , and planing to upgrade to 18s (currently have 17s) would be great if anybody with same model has pics to show me how low it would be with 18s? thanks in advanced

Model doesn't matter, lowering springs lower a car from its un-upgraded standard ride height, ie, before an s-line is given its s-line suspension, or before a sport is given its sport setup, the bodies are all the same, so if my sport was 15mm below standard and I bought 45mm springs, it would lower it only a further 30mm

so basically just look for pics of any a3 with 45mm lowering kit

As you can see she is sitting like a monster truck! But the 18s IMO are the perfect size for an a3. 19s border on too big and with 17s they always look that little bit odd

Nice m8 yeah think am gonnie order me some 18s , that's my 45mm springs just arrived so should have it nice n low next week sometime

wicked mate, be sure to upload some pics I want to see how they look against the arches :thumbs up:

LO suspension, couple of my mates have them , says there spot on theve had them a few yrs so decided to take a risk n go with am unknown brand just purely on word of mouth m8 , get them put in next Sunday also 18 inch rotor wheels dispatched for next Tuesday getting excited now haha

the reviews say they might not drop as far as they say they should, just so ya know

Which rotors are u getting? Aftermarket or oem? Seen sone decent looking aftermarkets about but can't be sure about the quality of them ie going over a pothole

I'm really not fussed my original height I was dropping was 35mm so in between that is fine , there oem 2nd hand Mr Singh off a friend , I heard if you buy them from the UK there fine but steer clear of the China ones .

I have 18" and i have them LO SUSPENSION! Finally someone with same springs . I had these on my E46 too and i loved them! Yes, its true that it doesnt go as low as they say, but its definitely close to it. The ride quality is really comfortable compared to s line springs. And a pic to show mine with 18's.

Gdgd car looks smart bro a know a few people with LO's and they recommend them , but people read one bad review and a give them a bad name lol

The alloys in your last pic that you replaced with your rotors. What are they called? I'm guessing they're done by Ronal but every search throws up 18inch version of those off A4's. Where can I get the 17inch version that fit a3?
