Broken paddle - stuck solid.

I went to change gear this morning and my + paddle was solid. There is no movement in it at all and it doesn't click.

Has this happened to anyone else?

Is it fixable or is a new paddle needed?

Cheers, had a search but didn't use the right words.

Sounds like the spring has dislodged, will strip it down after lunch.

Sorted - There was a bit of plastic inside that was stopping the paddle being pressed in.
