Finally ordered my new A4, gone for the 1.8Tfsi SE Technik in Dakota Grey. Upgraded the spec to include Adaptive Xenons, Sports Seats, Sports suspension (lowered by 20mm to the same as s-line), interior light pack, black headlining, 3 spoke steering wheel and finally sun blinds in the back as no longer able to get privacy glass. Was a choice of the above or a s-line but finally decided and got the above for a little less than a standard s-line. Reason was I will also be getting Satnav, full leather, metallic paint and 18" alloys as standard on SE Technik spec so seemed a cracking deal....

Will post some pics when it finally arrives.....

Hi Zobware my S4 is taking 16 weeks but now only 4 to go! The time seems to go quite quickly and there is a lot of interesting themes on this forum for some interim entertainment. Really nice spec on your car :)

Hi Zobware. Welcome to the forum. I am waiting for my white SE Technik to arrive. I'm getting the 177ps diesel. No options though due to company car scheme. Mines just been delayed by 2 weeks to early august :-(

Yours sounds lovely, bet you can't wait.

Elpeterol I can only dream of having a S4 bet you can't wait to hear that exhaust note :)

Mikeav6 mine was a toss up between White and Dakota Grey, the white does look awesome but in the end the Mrs had the final day although my heart was with the white! Mine is supposed to arrive by 2nd week in August but dealer said I might as well wait until 1st September to register as a 64 plate.

Welcome to audi-sport.net. Car sounds nice, hope you can enjoy the forum while you wait. :) x

Yes saloon, so glad I spotted the Audi. I was going to get a Civic as thought an A4 would be way out of my budget but with a £6k dealer contribution it was only £1.5k more than a Civic and if I had not added the options it would have been less..... I know the A4 will be changing in the next 18 months but still a hell of a car for the same money a Civic would be......

I wouldn't worry about the model change - all of the problems on ours have been sorted out so they should be much more reliable! I think that the A4/S4 is a fairly timeless design so should not look dated.

As to the S4 I can't wait - I need to find a nice long tunnel!!

I must agree there are some cracking deals on the A4.. I don't think you'll wait as long as you have been told. I was told 12 to 16 weeks for my S4 back end of Oct 13.. was possible to receive before end of Dec 13.. I chose however for a Jan 14 delivery.
